Inventory software saves time only if it fits how your shop actually works. Before comparing products, answer these questions.
1. Do you need to sell offline?
If your internet is unreliable, choose a system that keeps working offline and syncs later.
2. How will customers pay?
Check that the system records mobile money alongside cash and card.
3. Do you need receipts?
Confirm it supports your printer size — usually 58mm or 80mm thermal.
4. How many branches and staff?
Multi-branch stock transfers and staff permissions matter as you grow.
5. Who will set it up?
Importing products is the slowest part. An installation service can be worth the fee.
