Precautions


⚡ Contraindicated in diabetes, osteoporosis, fractures, heart disease, renal insufficiency, and pregnancy (except for induced parturition).
⚡ May cause allergic or anaphylactic reactions in sensitive animals.
⚡ Long-term use may result in adrenal cortex atrophy and reduced hormone production.
⚡ Avoid sudden withdrawal after prolonged treatment – taper dosage gradually.
⚡ Avoid skin/eye contact; may cause irritation.

Milk:
• Cattle: 24 hours (2 milkings)
• Sheep & goats: 48 hours (4 milkings)
Meat:
• Cattle: 1 day
• Sheep, goats, horses, pigs: 2 days
