- About the Author: Ebow Daniel


Ebow Daniel earned his BA from the University of Ghana in 1965 and later completed an MA in Higher Education from Stanford University in 1975. His entire professional life was spent at the University of Ghana, where he rose from Academic Registrar (1984–1989) to Registrar and Secretary to Council (1989–1999), totaling 34 years of impactful service.
Outside administration, Daniel was a published writer, performing arts enthusiast, and educational consultant. His earlier works include Mr. Registrar (1999), A Tale of Cape Coast (2004), and Counting Ghanaians: A Sovereign People in Profile (1990). A devoted churchgoer, Freemason, and beer enthusiast, Ebow Daniel lived a full life marked by service, humility, and insight. He passed away in 2019, survived by his wife Theresa Daniel, children, and grandchildren.
