✍️ About the Author: Brig. Gen. Daniel Kwadjo Frimpong


Brigadier General Daniel Kwadjo Frimpong (Rtd.) is a respected Ghanaian military officer, scholar, and international peace expert. Commissioned in 1973, he served for over four decades in various leadership roles including Commander of the Ghana Military Academy, Deputy Commandant of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, and Ghana’s first Military Adviser to the United Nations in New York.
He has also served as Senior Military Adviser to the UN Special Envoy for the Lord’s Resistance Army Affected Areas and contributed to African peacebuilding efforts across Uganda, the DRC, South Sudan, and CAR. A former Teaching Assistant in Philosophy at the University of Ghana, Legon, Gen. Frimpong combines deep academic insight with field expertise, offering a uniquely reflective voice in African literature.
