Sophie Bouillon (b. 1984) is an acclaimed French journalist and writer whose career has spanned investigative reporting across the African continent. At age 24, she became the youngest winner of the Albert Londres Prize—France’s highest honor for journalism, equivalent to the Pulitzer Prize.
Sophie first arrived in Lagos in 2014, later serving as Deputy Bureau Chief at Agence France-Presse. She currently works with RFI Hausa. Her unique voice combines sharp reportage with profound empathy, bringing to life the human stories behind global headlines.
