✍️ About the Author: Kechi Okwuchi


Kechi Okwuchi is a Nigerian-American recording artist, burn survivor, and motivational speaker. She survived the Sosoliso Airlines crash in 2005 and rose to global recognition as a finalist on America’s Got Talent in 2017. Since then, Kechi has become a national patient ambassador for Shriners Children’s Texas, a frequent speaker at WE Day events, and a passionate bullying prevention advocate.
Through her music and her message, Kechi inspires others to redefine what beauty and strength mean, showing the world that we are more than our scars. She currently lives in Pearland, Texas.
