- About the Author: Dr. Albert Kobina Mensah


Dr. Albert Kobina Mensah is a Ghanaian scientist and research professional working with Ghana’s Council for Scientific and Industrial Research – Soil Research Institute in Kumasi. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Soil Science from Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany, an MSc in Water Resources Management from Kenyatta University, Kenya, and a BSc in General Agriculture from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
His academic and research work focuses on soil contamination, environmental risk assessment, artisanal mining, and sustainability. With numerous high-impact journal publications, international conference presentations, and field-based environmental studies, Dr. Mensah is one of Ghana’s promising young researchers.
His return home is not just a career move—but a commitment to building the systems and solutions needed in Ghana’s future.
