- About the Author: Brigadier General Daniel Kwadjo Frimpong

Brig Gen Daniel Kwadjo Frimpong was commissioned in 1973 as an Armoured Recce officer. His storied military career saw him command the Ghana Military Academy, serve as Ghana’s first Military Adviser to the UN, and provide senior military counsel on peace efforts in Uganda, South Sudan, DRC, and the Central African Republic.
A scholar and educator, he holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Carleton University, Canada, and a BA (Hons) in English and Philosophy from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is also the Chairman of Family Health University College, Ghana’s premier private medical school.
In retirement, he served as CEO of the African Peace Support Trainers Association in Nairobi, continuing his legacy of international service and knowledge transfer.
