✍️ About the Author: Dr. Nii Armah Josiah-Aryeh

Dr. Nii Armah Josiah-Aryeh (1958–2022) was a Ghanaian legal scholar, barrister, and academic with a distinguished background in legal education and practice. A native of Jamestown in Accra, he received his education at Accra High School, Achimota School, and the University of Ghana, where he studied English, History, and Law. He was called to the Ghana Bar in 1983.
He furthered his studies in the United Kingdom, earning an LLM, Certificate in Law Teaching, and a PhD in Law from the University of London. Upon his return to Ghana in 1998, he served as a Lecturer at the University of Ghana School of Law and practiced as a private legal consultant. Known for his strong views on equity, reform, and tradition, Dr. Josiah-Aryeh contributed significantly to legal scholarship in Ghana.
