A retired Ghanaian military officer turned financial pioneer, Capt. Prince Kofi Amoabeng is the co-founder of UT Bank. He built the bank from a humble micro-lending business into one of Ghana’s most recognizable and customer-focused financial brands. His no-suit, flat-structure leadership style disrupted the traditional banking model. Despite the bank’s collapse, his journey remains a powerful example of entrepreneurial resilience and ethical reckoning.
George Bentum Essiaw
