Professor Janet Neequaye is a British-born physician and educator who dedicated over five decades to advancing paediatric healthcare in Ghana. A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh), she has authored over 60 academic papers on topics such as malaria, neonatal tetanus, Burkitt lymphoma, and HIV in children.
She served as Head of the Department of Child Health at the University of Ghana Medical School and continues to champion infant health long after retirement. A mother, mentor, and lifelong advocate for excellence, her legacy lives on through her writing and charitable work.
