✍️ About the Author: Dr. G.M. Afeti

Dr. G.M. Afeti is an accomplished mechanical engineer, educator, and international consultant with over 30 years of experience in the field of technical and vocational education and training (TVET). He earned his qualifications from KNUST (Ghana) and the University of Paris (France).
Dr. Afeti has held influential roles such as Principal of Ho Polytechnic, Secretary General of the Commonwealth Association of Technical Universities and Polytechnics in Africa, and Chairman of the African Union TVET Expert Group. His expertise has been instrumental in drafting the African Union Continental TVET Strategy.
Currently, Dr. Afeti serves as a Senior Skills Development Expert on the Skills Initiative for Africa (SIFA) under the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), where he continues to shape TVET policy and practice across multiple African countries.
