Offer Description

Youth Activism in Modern Politics in Ghana is a timely and thought-provoking analysis of the rising influence of young voices in Ghana’s political sphere. As frustrations mount among the youth over unemployment, corruption, and unfulfilled promises, this book dissects the activism that has come to shape the country’s modern democratic struggle.
✨ The book explores the surge of youth restlessness and activism across Africa, with a Ghanaian lens—paralleling movements seen in Nigeria (#EndSARS), Kenya, and other political hotspots.
✨ It features case studies of four high-profile Ghanaian youth figures:
 • Kwame Bediako (Cheddar) – Youth presidential aspirant challenging political norms
 • Oliver Barker-Vormawor – Leader of the #FixTheCountry movement
 • Ernesto Yeboah – Radical student activist and protest icon
 • Mahmoud Jajah – Youth voice from Ghana’s inner-city Zongo communities
✨ With sharp political and sociological insights, the book reveals the deeper motivations and implications behind youth-led movements, protests, and digital advocacy in Ghana.
