About BambooHR
BambooHR is an all-in-one HR platform for small and medium-sized businesses. It brings employee records, hiring, time and benefits information together in one system, so HR teams do not have to re-enter data in several places.
The platform includes an applicant tracking system and onboarding tasks, reporting and analytics, time tracking and time-off requests, benefits enrollment, performance management, and compensation planning. Payroll is available as an add-on.
BambooHR also offers Bamboo AI, a built-in assistant that the vendor says handles routine work and flags matters that need human judgement. The vendor lists more than 150 pre-built integrations and a mobile app.
Customer data is hosted in the United States, Canada or Ireland, depending on the customer. The vendor states that data is encrypted in transit, that sensitive fields are encrypted at rest, and that it undergoes an annual third-party SOC 2 audit.
BambooHR is HR software, not a PEO: it does not provide HR staff. Pricing depends on company size and the features chosen, and is given by quote.
