About Workday
Workday is an enterprise cloud platform that brings human resources and finance together in one system. It is used by organisations ranging from midsize businesses to public institutions and large corporations, and the company states that more than 11,500 organisations use it worldwide.
The platform now includes AI agents, coordinated through an assistant called Sana. Workday says these agents work within an organisation's own security settings, permissions and business rules, and that actions are recorded in audit trails.
The product range covers human capital management (including payroll, talent and workforce management) and financial management (including planning and analysis, and spend management). Workday also offers a developer platform, a data cloud and an agent and app builder for companies that want to build their own workflows and agents.
