Clearco

Clearco is a revenue-based financing service for direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce brands. It offers non-dilutive funding of up to $10 million, with estimated payment terms of up to 12 months, to pay for inventory, suppliers, marketing and wholesale or retail expansion.

Brands connect at least one ecommerce sales platform, and Clearco uses monthly revenue to work out funding capacity. Applications are typically reviewed in as little as 24 hours. Approved funds can be used through Cash Advance or Invoice Funding.

Clearco says it does not take all-asset liens or collateral, and offers Fixed Funding Capacity and Rolling Funding Capacity. With the rolling option, payments replenish available capacity without reapplying.

Eligibility: according to the site, applicants should:

• Sell directly to consumers online
• Have 6+ months of consistent revenue, above $100,000 USD per month
• Be incorporated in the U.S. with an active U.S. business bank account

These requirements mean the service is unlikely to be available to most businesses in Ghana or elsewhere in Africa unless they have a US-incorporated entity.
