ELMO is a cloud platform that brings HR, payroll and workforce management together on one data foundation. It is aimed at mid-sized organisations in Australia and New Zealand, and the vendor says it is used by more than 2,000 ANZ companies.

The platform covers the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance, learning and succession planning. It also includes rostering, time and attendance, and payroll options. The vendor describes AI features that recommend actions while leaving decisions to HR staff.

ELMO says it is designed around Australian requirements such as Modern Awards, enterprise agreements (EBAs) and Single Touch Payroll (STP). This makes it most relevant to organisations operating in Australia, and less so to businesses elsewhere.
