Google Drive
Cloud storage for storing, sharing and collaborating on files, for individuals, teams and organisations of all sizes.
About Google Drive
Google Drive is a cloud storage and file sharing service from Google, offered on its own and as part of Google Workspace. It lets you keep files in one place and open, share and edit them from any device.
You can edit Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, Microsoft Office files and PDFs in real time, and open more than 100 other file types. Sharing uses customisable permissions (edit, comment or view), and PDFs can be annotated with comments.
Drive includes AI-powered search and Gemini features that answer questions using content from Drive, Gmail, Calendar and Chat. Gmail attachments can be saved straight to Drive, and the Android and iOS apps can scan documents such as receipts into searchable PDFs.
Storage scales from 15GB to up to 5TB per user, depending on the plan. Business and Enterprise editions add shared drives for teams, stronger support, and migration tools for moving data from existing storage. Some features, such as Activity view, are only available on certain Workspace plans.
